Your Favorite Bridges

I saw a show about that bridge on the history channel. They recently rehabbed the whole bridge. Replacing everything, even the old wires and counterweight.

Us-2 over the Cut River in Michigan's Upper Peninsula is a pretty cool one.

This is the Gervais Street Bridge in Columbia, SC. Its certainly not as grand as the others in this thread, but it is attractive and functional

Also among my favorites is the Liberty Bridge in Greenvile, SC. Its a pedestrian bridge.

The New Providence River Bridge being installed last summer. The bridge will carry the relocated I-195 through the city.

The bridge was built off site and floated up Narragansett Bay. This photo is taken from under the approach of the bridge as it is being slid into it's final position.

This map shows the relocated 195, the current route runs through the areas in orange which will open up for development once the relocation is complete.
