$100 Million "mountain lodge" planned for Newaygo

It looks as though the single family homes are going to be the first phase of the project. The model home is being priced right now and hopefully start construction in the spring. From what I have heard, the lodge will be build after a certain amount of homes have been sold.

Looks like Visbeen is out as Architect. They are currently looking for a new architect for the Lodge. The home sites are all designed by Rocky Mountain Log Homes. Abonmarche has done the civil engineering portion. Sounds like they want to start in the spring.

I know many of you don't follow any news here in Newaygo County, but I thought I would let you know I read in the Times Indicator's Foreclosure Section, that Newaygo Riverbank, LLC was forclosed this last week, by 3 different banks each with about $6 million into the project. Resident Agent of Newaygo Riverbank is BRUCE J REIFFER of coopersville.

There website http://www.newaygoriverbank.com has been offline for a couple months now, an older verison can be seen at http://www.bcreative.net/riverbank/
