Pueblo, Colorado Photos # 1

Pueblo, Colorado's metro area is home to just over 140,000 people and is located just 40 miles south of Colorado Springs. Even so, I'd never taken the time to go walk around the city until yesterday. I started with what most Puebloans consider the cities crowning achievement, it's downtown riverwalk.

Next on my agenda was the new library south of downtown. I began walking south on Main Street...

Until I arrived in the Union Avenue Historic District.

I still had to cross the bridge over the railroad tracks and Arkansas River before I arrived at the library.

Inside and out it truly is an amazing facility.
