Job Market

how's the job market down there in Austin? I'm a finance/accountant type, and my wife is considering getting her PhD at UT. wondering if it's farily easy to transition into a good job if we move.

There are plenty of high tech companies here to choose from. You can even work for UT; they have a large presents here. I don't know what the statistics are, but there seems to be a real strong and growing job market here. I moved here about 3 months ago because of the job opportunities. Also I have never heard anyone here complain about living here. Most people are very enthusiastic about this city and will tell you so. The climate is great, kind of hot, but not like you would imagine. I moved here from southeastern Virginia where the humidity was harsh. The lack of that humidity here makes it very comfortable.
