Huntsville Apartment Development

The Country Club Apartments on Airport Road are to be razed and rebuilt as a mixed use development, with condos, shops and restaurants. Triad Properties will oversee the development (they built the Summit office tower downtown). Possible plans include 100 condos and retail along Airport Road.

Sounds like a great plan, that is some primo property. That whole area has a real nice mix of retail.

well there was a report on WAFF about how this plan may displace some elderly, handicapped and some homebound residents. The developers(Triad) should make it their responsibility to re locate these residents or give them the opportunity to remain at the current lease. There is no reason not to except greed.

Maybe their lazy architects could pull something out of the boring file to offer the residents.

Are any of these 4242 apartment units planned for the downtown area? I'd like to see a couple nice complexes downtown to get some younger people there.
