Will Greer Succeed from Spartanburg County and into Greenville County

I was reading about this in the paper the other day and was wondering what some of you thought about the subject? Do you think that the City of Greer will eventually be contained in Greenville County only? If this has already been posted as a thread forgive me, but i did a search and didnt find any other thread with this topic.
