WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Way to go Tigers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a HIT by Magglio in the bottom of the 9th to clinch the deal :):):)

That last game was incredible.

I was at the game last night....by far the best sports experience I've ever had. What a game, what an incredible scene both inside of Comerica Park and in the streets of Detroit. It was pandemonium everywhere! People hugging, dancing, screaming, and high-fiving all over the place. I have 2 tix to Game 1 of the Series on Saturday (part of a package deal during the regular season) and heck no I'm not selling them!

ohhh man I'm so envious right now :D:D:D:D

Although I'd like to see the Tigs win it in a sweep, It would be nice if they could make it go to game 6, so they can finish in the D.

im so pissed right now. i sat in front of my computer for 35 minutes trying to get a ticket. i got on to buy them at 10:00, right when they went on sale, but so did 20, 000 other people, and my damn pc froze up on me, i couldnt even get standing room only tickets for game 6 or 7.

then i tryed to call the ticket number, nope couldnt even get through.

i then tryed ebay, a standing room ticket went from 85.00, only $10 over the ticket price, to 150 dollars, and i dont have enough to buy 4 of those at that price. damn u last minute bidders!

oh well, but one thing i will do next year is buy all my tickets in march or april, that way i can get good seats for regular season games.

From the Freep:

"Did you know the game is actually on television? You can watch it at home on that little box. Drink cheap drinks. Eat cheap food. Rejoice in the warmth of forced-air heat! For free."

Also tips on how to possibly get tickets later on: http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2006610170390

And a nice piece about how local parties will be open to the general public, unlike SBXL.

http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article...MI/JO6DLobTM%3D

SBXL was scheduled several years in advance, lots of corporate high-rollers using the event for business contacts. (Some businesses close to the stadia were all rented up, or even closed down.)

The World Series is up in the air; could be four games, could be seven. No one has had a lot of time to plan (was it just last year that the paper bags were so popular?). This would be a profitable and crazy time to be in the bar distribution business.

yeah it would! after every regular season game i went to we went to Greektown as well, and man, was that place hoppin'. The bars, clubs, restaurants, and casinos were packed. There were motercycles all over the place and musicians on every corner. It was awesome, and it will be even better during the world series.
