Just a thread to update on US Airways-

As A-350 delays and US Airways need for bigger, and more aircraft US Airways looks at the 787 dreamliner.

Capital to capital

The proposed capital-to-capital service will provide United and US Airways passengers with nonstop access between two of the world's most prominent capital cities. If approved by the U.S. Department of Transportation, the service will begin in March 2007

US Airways will add its code to the proposed Washington Dulles -- Beijing flight as well as United's existing flights to China, which include daily service to Beijing/Peking and Shanghai from both Chicago and San Francisco. The codeshare will open China to US Airways' customers with convenient connection service through the airline's hubs in Charlotte, N.C., Philadelphia and Phoenix and secondary hubs in Las Vegas and Pittsburgh, boston, and New York.

US Airways Philidelphia eagle plane takes flights for fans

"Many of our loyal customers who fly in and out of our Philadelphia hub also happen to be passionate Eagles fans.

As the official airline of the Eagles and as the hometown airline we're proud to show our support to the hometown team. This plane serves as a reminder that US Airways is dedicated to Philadelphia," said US Airways Chairman and CEO Doug Parker.

We are proud to have US Airways as the official airline partner for the Philadelphia Eagles," said Eagles president Joe Banner. "The new Eagles-themed plane embraces the passion of our fans and is a great opportunity to take that passion to new heights -- literally."

Christmas comes early this year for white plains NY.
