On Friday I took a drive to the Triangle. I made a stop at one of the universities I hope to get into in the future and really took the time to look around. I've been coming to UNC for many years but just taking the time to explore all the nooks and crannies of the area really makes you realize the beauty of the entire campus. Here are the photos I took, hope you enjoy!

Davie, the psych building, is being torn down as is the old dental research building. The corner of Manning and Columbia will be rebuilt which will allow complete obfuscation of the old dental school building.

which is tucked away behind a conrete monster named Berryhill.

The big white monolith is Brinkhous-Bullitt which houses labs from pathology, biochem, pharmacology, toxicology and some other departments. These depts. will eventually move to the Genetic Medicine Bldg. being constructed next to the Bioinformatics Bldg. (pictured above). While B-B is ugly, it houses a tremondous amount of lab space that couldn't be replaced now from an economic standpoint.

Yesterday I went to Carrboro to pick up something I had purchased from Craigslist and decided to stop by the UNC campus to do some more exploring in this relaxing comfortable weather.
