The new signs in Cranston have been up for a year or two, I think that they're fantastic considering the vast majority of RI isn't signed all that well. I always liked giving people directions when I lived in Providence, seeing as how the main streets were rarely signed. Anyways, the yellow and brown signs are easy to read from a distance, they seem to be along the Route 5 area.

In the Fort Sanders/UT area of Knoxville (excluding the campus itself), the street signs are brown with white letters and a white border (they actually alright...).

In Berry Hill, just south of Nashville, the street signs on the sides of the road (not for traffic lights) are blue with white letters.
