Another year another marathon

The weather turned out perfect today for another Greater Hartford Marathon. The city was abuzz today with runners and their family and friends who gathered all around downtown and throughout Greater Hartford to cheer on the runners.

There was a pretty good amount of foot traffic in the city today which was very good and I saw a lot of tourists leaving the city's hotels today which was also good.

Also I went down around 10:00AM and some of the downtown coffee shops were open like some of the Dunkin Donuts and the Starbucks....it would have been nice if all downtown places could have been open....does anyone know if places opened up for the lunch crowd??

Anyway ....another succesfull marathon

I saw this on this news. It's good to see Hartford packed with people.
