It's been fun seeing the progress on The Avenue as I drive by several times a week. I think it's really going to be a fun place to shop and hang out. Best Buy and Barnes And Nobles are two things that I think will be really appreciated here.

The Gateway district spans from exit 76 all the way to Broad Street bordering Old Nashville Highway from Thompson lane & Broad (North) to Medical Center Parkway & Broad (South). Additional information may be found here:

The Avenue project will be located directly across from the Embassy Suites Hotel right off exit 76. It is highly visible from I-24 as several buildings have been erected. I'd say at this rate it could actually be the summer of next year when this thing opens. Middle Tennesee Medical Center will be located on the corner lot between Medical Center Parkway and Wilkinson Pike. The sign for the hospital has been there about four years and nothing has been built. I think the hospital is still waiting on the State's written consent.
