Does anyone know if the BoA tower has a public accessible observation deck?

If it doesn't, are there any other uptown buildings that do?

Would love to get a view of Charlotte from up there on my trip! :)

The rooftop of the Holiday Inn on College St is open to the public during daylight hours.

None of the BofA towers offers public access. I've heard they opened the executive dining room in the Corporate Center to the public in 1994, during the Final Four. Since then, the view is by invitation only.

There is a restaurant called Bentley's on 27 on that floor of the building that says Grant Thornton, and I think is actually called the Charlotte Plaza. So far as I know, it's the nearest thing we have to an observation deck.

Yeah it's not public anymore... I had the oppourtunity to go to the top in 1998 though because of a summer camp I was in.... it was definately something else :)

I know of a building in uptown with a sometimes-used floor (umpteenth, not real high), restrooms, and no security. I've sometimes snuck up there for a little lunchtime shut-eye in an empty room. But I feel like UrbanPlanet is a bit too public, to post where...
