Wal-Mart/Target on Pelham Road?

At some point, city governments all over the nation are going to have to put a halt to Wal-Mart's famous habit of jumping from site to site, leaving old abandoned big boxes in their wake. I am 100% percent anti Wal-Mart for this reason and more.

Wal-Mart on Pelham Road is slap in the face to Thornblade residents.

Eastside homeowners have filed a lawsuit against this new Wal-Mart development:

Well, the homeowners have given up their law suit against Walmart. So Walmart gets built.

I kinda liked Earth Fare because it was a nice quiet unlit place to visit. But I'm sure Walmart will light up the skies with their building. And bring many new visitors to the area.

I have heard there is another Walmart being built near the Donaldson center , and don't forget the long rumored reemergence on Laurens. Pretty soon we will have to be renamed Walmartville

I definitely see a Wal-Mart apperaing near Donaldson Center within some years. There is nothing on US-25 south to Moonville. You have a good population and income base with to attact major area retailers.

As much as I hate the thought of Wal-Mart opening on Pelham , at least there will be some small retail spots in addition. I noticed today that Five Guys Burgers will open another location in the development.
