Polo.com to build distribution center in High Point

The state announced this afternoon that Polo.com will build a $40 million distribution and fulfillment center in High Point at the Kivett Drive Industrial Park, creating up to 250 jobs by 2010.

Congratulations HP! This is great news for the city and Guilford County.

High Point is my hometown, and my parents still live there, so it's always nice to hear that the Triad's underdog has had some good news.

HP needs to diversify its economy as much as possible so it can keep on trucking if Vegas ever steals the Market away like it's been threatening to do for years...
