Show your downtown!

Toss in your fav or newest shots of your hometown's downtown!

Here's two shots of Downtown Tyler, just to start things off. I took them on my camera phone (had it for 8 months now, this is the first time I've used it) because that's all the patience I'd have for uploading on 26.4k dial-up anyway. I'll probably get some more soon as I'm interested in the photographic opportunities in this area.

These two shots were designed to sort of give it a very urban feel, even though it's very small and not terribly urban. If it doesn't quite work...well, it's because I didn't have much to work with! Enjoy!

Those pics are from the Hartford Concorso Ferrari Show which is the Ferrari Club of America New England Regions largest event. The event is held each year to benefit the CT Childrens Medical Center in Hartford.

Hot (and large) aerial shot of Newark, NJ:

Probably the thing I like most about this shot is that, while in many cities you'll see a giant highway cutting through the center, here the big artery you see south of the cluster of skyscrapers is not a highway, but commuter & intercity rail lines.
