Halloween - Honolulu Style

Thousands of people were out in full force roaming the streets of Waikiki til the mornin' light again this Halloween. If you've never experienced Halloween in Waikiki before you should do it at least once 'cause its a lot of fun and you'll be able to see some really crazy and creative stuff all night long roaming Kalakaua Ave. (and Kuhio Ave.). Waikiki is where the adults usually go to celebrate Halloween and has been a local tradition for many many years.

Note: These pics are from various photographers at Flickr.com

Yeah Halloween is always awesome i've seen some really strange and creative stuff there in the past even a Vagina costume which won a contest once. Halloween in Lahaina is supposed to be pretty awesome to, it's nicknamed the Mardis Gras of the Pacific but i have yet to experience it.

Man I left paradise on 10.30. Sorry I missed that for sure. Thanks for the pix. I was in Kaneohe staying w/friends and also at Waimea on Kauai at the Waimea Plantation Cottages. The roosters and chickens rule Kauai. :P

I was there for a total of 12 days. I wish I was still there. I want to go back ASAP.

haha poonther yeah the chicken thing is crazy over on Kauai, i think that one of the reasons that there are so many there is because there are no mongoose like on the other islands that would prey on them and keep their populations in check.

Also, i'd love to see some pics of Halloween in PR, that would be awesome.

Here are some more pics from Halloween this year:

Hey guys sorry about the timing but is better late than never. Here are some pics of Halloween in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Although PR is mainly Catholic and 99.99% is Christian.... well Halloween is always present. Some of the pics are my own, others are pics that my friends took. You will see Pac-Man, Mexican Comedy Star "El Chavo del 8", Bender from Futurama and more. Please enjoy :D
