Two of the most famous neighborhoods in Mexico City, both being centre for the artistic and entertainment life of the city.

Families enjoy them on weekends and the exclusivity of their bars, pubs, restaurants and night life make them "a must" to see in this metropolis.

For the lovers of good quality spanish colonial architecture they are a paradise! squares, houses, ancient sidewalks, parks and fonts since the 1500's years.

Wow, what a beautiful urban place, that most people in America know almost nothing about, existing right under our noses. The historic architecture & cobblestone streets existing in a tropic forest like setting is a nicely looking scene.

Great pics, people here in the US I think tend to overlook Mexico and Mexico City. They just assume it's a smoggy slum area. But it has great history and it is one of the largest metros in the world. I've heard that central Mexico City has many historical buildings but has become run down. There always seems to be promises to eventually restore the area but it never seems to get done.

It really is. Especialy the adaptions that were made in the different regions of the Americas.

Does anybody here actually live in Mexico City? I have a job offer and am considering to move there next year, but heard that pollution and crime are pretty bad. Is it really that bad? How is it to live in Mexico DF??? Anybody knows?
