amen, pumpkin. Although it was pretty nice out. I had all the windows, and the door open at MY NEW OFFICE in the summit neighborhood. i already miss downtown. It probably snowed downtown today.

i was really mopey about leaving downtown today. It didn't help that i had a bit of an overhang, but the movers kept asking me if my dog died or something. But the truth is that with the DID doing a lot of the work we used to do (and frankly, doing a great job) we don't need to be downtown anymore, and I'm quite excited to start working on transforming North Main Street. 25 years ago Keep Providence Beautiful was established a downtown presence and i feel pretty comfortable leaving downtown, now that it is on the verge of really just taking off.

i'm just bummed i'm gonna miss all the good sales because i won't be downtown every day of the week anymore. But i am now closer to The sandwich hut. and Java Speed. and Miko.

However i have to start driving to NC on Thursday so it needs to snow well before, and it can snow after but i won't see it.
