The Blizzard of '78 actually closely followed a large storm that would have been dubbed the Blizzard of '78 all by itself.

I'm rather partial of the April Fools storm we had in Boston in the late 90s. One foot plus of snow, then the sun came out, the temps rose into the 50s and we were all able to walk around in our shirt sleeves and enjoy the magnificent desolation. Within a week it was all gone.

My father's friend had this old beater of a car, and he was doing that after a storm. He slammed into one snow bank and completely destroyed his car - apparently somebody had a fairly decent size rock in their yard that had gotten dislocated and he slammed into that!

i did not "find" it. I knew about it because i've been around the board block a few times and another board i'm on has had this feature for quite some time.

not impressed with the emoticon selection. I'd like to see :chicken :kitty and :pirate, and perhaps :coffee and :moo.

Neo is pretty particular about the emoticons, it's one of his quirks, but if you find some that fit in well in size and style with the current ones point me to them and I will ask if he'll add them.
