I have all but given up looking at the weather forecasts in the Washington area. They never seem to get anything right. Of course, DC is sort of on the cusp of different weather patterns. We seem to get everything or nothing when it comes to snow. So far, we have had about an inch and a half of snow (last week) and not much else except lots of wind to make it seem much colder than it reall has been. I want snow! Lots of it....

My street is flooded with ice from a burst pipe across the street. I say if it's not going to snow we just open all the fire hydrants and flood the city with ice. It'll be like that old Tom & Jerry episode when they turn the kitchen into a skating rink. (<--old)

i'm no longer going to read weather reports. i'll make my own based on what the weather is currently doing. the weathermen don't seem to know how to predict anything anymore.

right now, the weather is overcast and cold.

btw- i am not going to use any scientific language like temperatures or anything like that when i make my weather reports.

the weather right now is a little cloudy, but looks to be bright and sunny... like my personality.

it's still cold... like i need a thicker jacket than the one i wore to work cold.
