the weather right now is a little cloudy, but looks to be bright and sunny... like my personality.

it's still cold... like i need a thicker jacket than the one i wore to work cold.

i think with few exceptions, the entire rest of the country has seen a fair amount of snow except for the northeast...

so i shouldn't tell you that the ski areas in ME and NH have good snow even though it's man made? actually they've been getting a fair amount of natural snow recently... i think some of the lake effect snow has made its way through VT and NH.

mad river glen, which has almost no snowmaking is nearly 100% open.

its ok. I understand they're making snow, but it is by far not a stellar season. I am more bummed that i have a new girlfriend who has a cousin at Aspen and we were going to make a few trips out.

I was offered a weekend at stowe today and would have gone just to hang around and get out of town and go to Gracies and eat one of those warm brownie sundaes, and visit the cabot store in Waterbury but my weekend is already booked with family junk.

weather report this very minute is snowing. i don't have any idea how warm or cold it is, but my thermometer says 32 outside, a balmy 65 in my bedroom, and the relative humidity in my bedroom is 56% (probably because i just showered).

i'm gonna wear the same jacket... but i'll be wearing a sweater this time, so i shouldn't be as cold (dress shirts just don't make for great layering).

I had to take off my scarf a couple blocks from my house. Further along I unbuttoned my jacket, later still I unzipped my fleece vest, and by the time I got to work I was roasting.

I didn't see my shadow either, I was too busy taking off my clothes 'cos its so crazy hot!
