Great photos, are the photos of DT representative of the whole city? Based on those photos alone, the city shows some great grit & character.

^ the city is in poor shape economically. It was very timber dependant and when that got wiped out, a lot people moved away. The Olympia area is loaded with Harbor transplants. Things are finally starting to look up for the area. The economy is diversifying and they are doing a better job of taking advantage of the geographical advantage that their port has vs. other area ports.

Thats true and if Im correct, Hoquiam just opened the largest biodiesel plant in the US. Way to go Gray's Harbor! And while the Downtown is in a bit of a rough shape, the city does have some really nice parts! I like the pictures though!
