SLC: This story is getting old. Quest Church purchased 40 acres between Dunbar High School and Bluegrass Airport along Man 'o War Blvd. a while back, hoping to build a mega church along land zoned for agriculture.

Except that instead of doing their homework and seeing if they could legally get a zoning change *if* they owned the land, they have been pressuring the city to do it three times already because of their blunder. This last meeting went on until 1 AM, which is absurd for a planning meeting.

The Church has exercised its opinion and has previously stated it could file a lawsuit because Lexington is violating the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act. Perhaps this pastor should exercise his brain and realize that he made an error when purchasing land that was not zoned for anything other than agricultural purposes.
