There are many commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects taking place in Dallas' Uptown. Thought it would be easier to keep up with them in their own seperate thread.

Saint Anns Court

Groundbreaking was held this week for the Texas Capital Bank Building (2000 McKinney) project that will be a 20-story office building and a 5-story residential and retail building. Work will begin immediatly on the underground parking garages and the project should start to go verical in mid-March. The office portion is sheduled to come online in September 2008 and the residential and retail in 2009.

Texas Capital Bank has agreed to lease 98,000 sf of the 445,000 sf office building. The projects developers Lincoln Property Co. will move its headquarters to the building taking 52,000 sf and Corrigan Properties Inc. will use 8,000 sf.

Construction is set to begin on Saint Ann Court in May. The law firm McGuire, Craddock & Strother has committed to 18,000 sf bringing the total ammount of space preleased to 43%. Other tenants include Aldus Equity, Erasmus Advisors and Harwood International, the buildings developer, will occupy 23,000 sf. The 320,000 sf Saint Ann Court is scheduled to be completed in early 2009.

Harwood says that they expect preleasing to continue throughout the summer and when they reach 85%, they will introduce their next phase, a 220,000 sf tower. Also with the Azure condominium tower wrapping up construction, Harwood will announce another residential tower with rental units in July.
