The late country music legend, and former Shreveporter, Faron Young, will be inducted into Shreveport's Walk of Stars on December 10, the ten-year anniversary of his death.

Faron is greatly missed in the world of entertainment, and this is just another long-deserved honor that he will receive.

Shreveport's Walk of Stars already includes such well-known people as Kix Brooks of Brooks & Dunn; guitar legend and former Elvis guitarist, James Burton; Elvis Presley himself; former NFL quarterback Joe Ferguson; former NFL quarterback Terry Bradshaw; Huddie "Leadbelly" Ledbetter; Hank Williams Sr; Hank Williams, Jr. and many others.
