Grand Buffet CLOSED!

I can't believe it! My favorite Chinese Restaurant! And it's voted the best how many years in a row? The sign says it's being renovated into Koto Japanese Steak House Hibachi and Sushi Bar. Does anyone know if it was sold? It says "Koto is Back!" What's that about?

Yes, it's on the east side of the Berlin Turnpike about a 1/4 mile up the road from Bernie's in Newington. (I actually typed out "Sound Playground" while writing that sentence.) The food was always very good, and not just for a buffet. I'm very disappointed. It's only a couple miles from my house, too. Curses. It will be missed.

Try the one next to Syms in Home Depot Plaza on the Berlin Turnpike, it's better, imho....

i personally liked the buffet near the homedepot better. It has an indoor koi pond and there seems to be more people who eat there.

Speaking of the Bowl-o-Rama, they recently took down (or painted over) the "Open 24 Hours" sign, so it has probably reduced itself to Olympia Diner-like hours.
