Just got back from the game, and my throat hurts  So hell yeah we won!! not by 20 points but oh well its a W. The Hornets were in dire need of a win having lost the last 3 games. Ive got to say that Travis Diener continues to impress me and I would like to see him play more, its nice to have 3 good point guards. I would like to see Diener start and have Arroyo come off the bench, call me crazy!

Diener, and JJ are a better fit after watching the Cavs game.

Diener looked impressive. Arroyo is hot and cold, but great when he is on target. JJ hasn't been given enough minutes to show what he has yet, but so far a shooting specialist whould seem to be his roll. Jameer is like Arroyo, good games and bad games. I think Brian Hill has been using them all well. Split up the minutes and use whoever is hot that night. Having too many good point gaurds is a problem the Magic haven't had since Skiles was here.

A wins a win, but damn we like to keep it close. I surely dont expect us to hold 20 point margins for the entire game, but do we have to let gaps close as tight and as frequently as we do? It just seems like if its not a team having their game of the year, its a player. Perhaps thats a function of bad teams preparing extra hard to play good teams, it just seems like that has always been the case for the Magic. Oh well. Who's next?

You also have to remember that Arroyo looks great spelling out Nelson. When that happens, Arroyo is usually playing against someone else on the other team's bench. Now, Arroyo is starting (temporarily) and going up against a starting guard. That makes a difference in his game and his level of play will probably pick back up when Jameer is playing as a starter.

We have decent players on the starting lineup. There are other teams that obviously have better starting lineups, but we have one of the best if not THE best team coming off the bench.

Well all I know is that we've won 2 straight games now with Deiner playing the majority of minutes, he distributes the ball better, he makes better decisions, hes a better shooter, and hes only a 2nd year player.

Arroyo sure is flashier than Deiner but we lost all those games the past 2 weeks with him, granted he was going against starting guards. Ive heard GM Otis Smith already has considered trading him. Arroyo may be the "spark plug" of the Magic but he turns the ball over way too much, and ends up doing no more good than bad for the team. He has good trade value, and we should be looking for another 6'9"- 6'11" forward to replace Battie or Outlaw down the road since they are 2 of are oldest players and Battie prob. are weakest starter.

I think we all know at some point Darko will be starting & Battie will be coming off the bench. I think Battie makes a pretty good post defender for a guy who comes off the bench.
