It is so much cheaper to do business in Pittsburgh than New York. Granted it will be in another "back office" role (which is something we need to work on) but I think they will make good on their projection of adding jobs here. It makes fiscal sense.

And those are the type of new MBA-ish and entry level jobs that are needed to keep college students here when they are done.

p.s. I'm glad there is finally some good discussion going on in here again

I just wonder if there are many jobs for people with degrees in history regardless of the location. There are probably opportunities for those with degrees in history that can apply it to real world situations, or who are ambitious enough to translate it into personal success. Perhaps Pittsburgh could encourage ambition and entreprenuership by reducing taxes on small business owners.
