Nice to know there are people out there writing about how the Twin Cities (though Minneapolis pretty much had the spotlight in this article) is not just a mall destination, rather there is a lively and thriving arts community, both big and small, that many of us locals know, love and cherish for what it is.

I've always been impressed with the educational and entertainment venues in Minneapolis and St. Paul. I really loved the children's theater and museum as a kid.

Here's an article on CNN about Christmas in the Twin Cities. It was kind of fun to read! Go get your lutefisk, lefse, and enjoy all the offerings of a smorgasbord. Then head out for the Hollidazzle Parade and go ice skating on Lake of the Isles or ice fishing on Lake Harriet.
