Since it's original airing about a year ago, many people have made rap videos about their own home towns:

I lack the time/help/skills/equipment to make my own video, but I have written my own "Lazy Little Rock" poking fun at various aspects of life in the city/state:

Lazy Little Rock

Yo, it's sunday,

Here in lazy Little Rock

Gotta hit up Wal-Mart for some crazy little socks,

Threads...spinnin' from across the sea,

Then to here on the shelves and back to me,

Rollback...always low prices,

Is that half off on electric devices?

Straight outta LR...

Now I'm at the register with my socks - Houndstooth,

Shootin' out the Lincolns like John Wilkes Booth,

Plastic or paper? No time, gotta hurry,

Gotta meet my homies and drive down the 630,

We got west side, north side, downtown too,

If you don't like that we got the Little Rock Zoo,

But here in LR you gotta watch yo back,

For homecoming traffic for the Razorbacks,

Straight outta LR...

Now I'm sure you've heard about our latest addition,

A museum on the river for President Clinton,

That guy's so tight for placin' it here,

Ensuring us tourists for a motha****ing year!

Now my rap's almost done,

But there could be more,

Like Central, Cantrell, or the f***kin' Civil War,

And Little Rock's so fly I don't need to boast,

But you need to take your cupcakes back to the East Coast!!!

Singin' like the caged bird of Maya Angelou...

What do you think? I wasn't trying to outdo Ice Cube, but do you think you could do better? Anything you'd like to add? I'd love to read your responses and/or lyrics.

I saw the mention of Houndstooth. But I don't think it's what I was thinking. We have a local company up here called that but from what I've seen the only sell shirts.
