Memphis gets another acknowledgment pertaining to Civil Rights?!!! This is good. Memphis is becoming (if not already is) an iconic city. I think the NBA and TNT has a special presentation in tribute for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr with a Grizzlies game.

Real talk, its amazing how such a HORRIBLE (this word can't explain the situation) incident could bring back such positive feedback for a city. Memphis is about preservation not about the clich

When AZP was first announced, they also announced that they were constructing a minor league baseball hall of fame. That idea eventually became the National Pasttime Museum. It will be affiliated with Cooperstown and the Negro Leagues Hall of Fame. At first, it was proposed to provide the most comprehensive information about minor league history, and include high-tech exhibits (internet databases, etc). I don't know if the new name indicates a different focus. Also, originally, it was going to be a Smithsonian Affiliate. The Smithsonian Affiliate website doesn't have it on its page. Don't know if it's because it hasn't been constructed yet or what.

Anyways, that's what I remember about it.
