The State of Downtown Retail

I typically use The Village or Arts Village.

In related news, The Ellis Studio in the Flat Iron building is starting to keep regular hours. I'm glad to see more studios finding it viable to be open other than by appointment and only on First Fridays. This definitely bodes well for the district and redevelopment efforts.

What Skyliner said.  With a title/name that long, I am bound to screw it up.  Maybe an acronym, TVOWG, hmmm, nope, sounds too much like TRAV for me.

I tried to pay attention to the name "The Village of West Greenville" and memorize it since it was announced, but still found that I was getting it wrong from time to time.

Eggs Up Grill coming to old Saffron's space.

Growing up going to Pawley's, I'm pretty excited. They will definitely be filling a niche for the West End for breakfast, and late night dining. Sully's, Bertolo's, and Pita Pit keep the city center well fed after the bars close, and there's not very many breakfast options downtown. It will be nice to have something in the West End!

Universal Joint on Stone Ave. officially opened last night. The place was packed for the grand opening. Food was great, as was the atmosphere with the large garage doors facing Stone. There was also a back patio with small garage doors that open directly into the bar.

Still wondering what is going to happen next door in the old Handlebar.

Should we not start a "Stone Avenue" or "North Main" thread in anticipation of future development in this area? (I really don't consider this part of downtown.)
