The CrossFit place next to Mac’s has closed. 

River Street Sweets in the old Yap space and the lavender shop in the old Cochran Jewelers space are both now open.

Upstate Performance Project moved 1/2 mile to Dunbar St next to the big storage place.

Not surprised. Too many more good places for burgers.

That's unfortunate.  American Roadside Burgers also had an off-the-beaten path location.  If it were a Cheesecake Factory or an Apple Store, it could survive in that kind of location; otherwise, it's tough to make it there, no matter what the business is.

Dont recall their doing extensive advertising...hard to attract traffic from Main St. I hope something exciting will move in...like Cheesecake Factory!

They were overpriced with small portions. At one time they offered a reasonable lunch special perfect for business people downtown, which they should have maintained as they were always packed during that period of time.  IMO, downtown could use more quick-serve, reasonably priced food options.

Ehhh, I'm not a big fan of things branded/named with "Charleston" opening in other places (or any city where it's not located). It's weird to see it in Clemson, and it's going to be weird to see it in Greenville.
