Pittsburgh

I had a rather massive Pittsburgh photo thread on here, but the links to all the photos are broken now. Since a few people have clamored for Pittsburgh shots, I'll make a new thread. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to go out and take new photos, so you may have seen some of these before.

Absolute awesome pics of Pittsburgh. We are just now starting to enter that market with the company I work for and have enjoyed what time I've spent there so far and look forward to more projects in the area!

Im so glad you did this Evergrey! Thanks a million. Im speechless by this city. People really dont understand what they are missing when they leave this place to move to North Carolina... LOL... But really, this is one of favorite cities in this country, along with Seattle, Portland, Boston, Denver, and Milwaukee to name to a few. Keep it up Pittsburgh! And redd it up Pittsburgh!

A cool thing in Pitt...

Go to the Mad Mex restaurant in Oakland. In front of it there is a sign that features a single red verticle line. Stand in front of the line and...keeping your head straight...scan your eyes back and forth as quickly as you can. The red lazer line becomes pictures of other things. I don't know how it works but it is cool. Then you can go inside and eat some good food and watch out the window. You will see people walking by snap their head around as they pass the sign with a confused look on their face. Their movement causes the redline-pictures to be seen in their peripheral vision.

This one always makes me think of those Cingular commercials ("more bars in more places"):

Carnegie Mellon it is. I wonder if this is the only place in the country where you'll find two universities across the street from each other?
