Greensboro, North Carolina

an interesting water fountian built in an alley off of South Elm Street. It was created by a local sculptor. There is also live fish in there.

a simple fountain at First Horizon Park. I noticed that there are 9 jets shooting up. I wonder if that is suppose to represent 9 innings in baseball?

finally the grandest water fountain in downtown Greensboro. Located in the new Center-City Park. Its really 3 separate fountains combined to make one big fountain

WOW! That last one is amazing!! It looks like the perfect center piece for a plaza downtown. I also took notice on how dense Greensboro is. It looks like an awesome city!

A question about the fountains...here in Richmond, the city does a poor job of keeping our major fountains on most of the time, even during summer months. Does the City of Greensboro do a good job on keeping up the maintenance and run time of those fountains?

Kansas City is known as "The City of Fountains", with the only city having more fountains being Rome. Needless to say there are hundreds of beautiful fountains around the city. I chose a few of my favorites that are downtown.

This isn't really downtown, it's at Kauffman Stadium, the home of the Kansas City Royals, this is only 1/3 of the fountains in the outfield. This is the largest privatley funded waterworks operation in the US.

This is probably the most famous fountain in Kansas City. It's on the Country Club Plaza
