A little off topic but since Queens Road has come up a number of times here: another one bites the dust on Queens, complete teardown a couple lots up from the intersection with East. Can't wait to see what Chateau-esqe monster takes its place.

Wow, I am a little embarrassed, I am viewing the Queens house metro posted on a different PC with a real graphics card (and better monitor) and can see the house for what it is now... could not before see what is a not so subtle horridness of stone work on the exterior, not to mention other features. That rainy overcast aspect I mentioned earlier is now, er, mostly missing. Tacit endorsement is hereby withdrawn.

Aside from the offensive aesthetics of the monster on QRW, the house was built for an empty nester couple. I find that to be the most troubling aspect of the house.
