What are they doing to the park at lake Eola?

Do you mean in general? Or the glacial progress of the playground? Or the never going to fix the sink hole by the monument off stage left of the amplitheatre? (Why don't they fix that?). Or the steel drum group getting ready to play on said stage?

Ah, well, yes, (to quote any politician:) harumph. They have been working on the upgrade(?) to the playground since before they closed off the park to install (twice, as I heard and saw the jackhammers) an 8" strip of concrete around the southern/eastern peimeter of the lake. New sunk in posts supporting new monkey...er...children play areas. Bouncy walkway surface I suppose to be added soon. Opening scheduled sometime before the urban Publix (to be safe).
