Red Lion restaurant to be torn down

The Red Lion restaurant on Bridge St has been purchased and will be torn down for temporary parking, with plans to eventually redevelop the site:

I have to say I've never eaten there. I'm with Chris that those signs are pretty cool!

I would count on any development on this site for the next 7 years.

Once the $$$ starts to roll in from the neighboring business that rent out that lot for their patrons, all the development talk will disappear in a heartbeat.

hmmm.. I've always said I would love to re-develop this and turn it into a 24 hour greasy spoon like a Waffle House or something. I think it would do fairly well.

well i'm in favor of more bar parking...i may be the only one holding this stance
