Clayton, MO [12-02-2006]

On the weekend of December 1st my wife and I traveled to St. Louis to Clayton, MO for a friend's wedding. Instead of flying we drove despite the news of bad weather sweeping through the area. Free time wasn't around much but I did manage to snap a few quick pictures on the way in, from the hotel room window, and from a park down the street (I apologize for any dirty windows ahead of time!):

great photos, the view from the arch must be amazing.

This was my first trip to St. Louis and unfortunately because of the ice and power outages the entire city was all but closed. Most museums, the LRT system, arch, etc. were all included in the closures. Our hotel was right by the Metro rail stop in Clayton so it would have been a nice quick ride to see things like the Arch. :(
