3rd Ward Midrise Projects

Does the Woodfield @ Graham project have any impact on extending MLK to Cedar?  The drawing above suggests it might make more sense now.

Its in the cities plans, but I don't think Woodfield would foot the bill.

BWOOOOMMPPPPP.

When I get a chance later I am going to put Encore in the main list, gonna add an announced buildings section and get rid of 210 Trade.

To the announced, I am going to put Tryon Place, 300 Tryon and under construction gonna put Skyhouse....anything else?

And to make sure on numbers here:

Tryon Place (27 Stories / ~460 ft)

300 South Tryon (25 stories / ~410 ft)

Skyhouse (24 stories / 305 ft)

Those sound good?

Forgot to mention this last week, but there was some core drilling going on again at 3rd and poplar. There were two different machines. If my mind serves me correctly I believe this is the second time drilling has been spotted.

Something be in the works. Now.

25+ Residential with street retail and 3 floors underground parking. No biggie.

here is the presubmit meeting request.

RLL Architects

Drakeford Company is developer.

I think I outlined some stuff about this a few pages back somewhere, with samples of the architects work.

Didn't someone say the drilling wasnt "significant" in terms of being imminent

Its significant to issuing RFPs for construction Bids. A milestone… yes… is construction imminent… no.

I know we mention it all the time.  But I just cannot get over how much of a change we are seeing in 3rd ward.  I still stand there at the corner of Bearden and BB&T and think about what's there (and what is about to break ground) and it just blows my mind.  It'll go from being the most desolate portion of uptown to the most active in less than a 5 year period.  Pretty nuts.

If you build it, they will come.
