The Press is reporting that Amway will buy the naming rights to the TD Waterhouse Arena for exposure in the Asian, Latin, and European markets...

It may work for Alticor's international venture, which is still called Amway. But domestically I'm a little confused. Alticore killed the Amway name here in North America but are willing to put the Amway name on an NBA arena. Oh Well I suppose if Grand Rapids can still have the "Amway" Grand Plaza Hotel, Orlando can have an "Amway" Arena.

I thought Quixtar Arena would sound more cool...but Quixtar also sounds like a bran cereal name...

Thank god we don't have a devos/amway arena in GR....yet....

I do know that Amway is well known outside of the US. I believe that is given in the article.
