The Kansas City Royals won against the Chicago White Sox at Kauffman Stadium. After being down 3-7 at the top of the 9th, the Royals made a stunning comeback making 6 more runs. Carlos Beltran won the game by making a double home run.

Today's Greater Kansas City Day (Opening Day) crowd is the third largest opening day crowd ever! The largest crowd ever was at Yankee Stadium in 1994, breaking 56,706.
