joedowntown had a great idea to add a subforum for development questions, and I seconded the motion. We'll use this resource so that people can ask all the questions they are too afraid to ask about development, starting a business, becoming a developer, tax credits, construction methods, new materials, latest trends, approval processes, bureaucracy, pro-formas, planning issues, project financing, and any other information people can think of or contribute. Just remember the "no selling or buying real estate" principle and you will do fine.

Stay tuned for some new topics soon, or feel free to jump right in with a new topic. No question is a dumb question, especially since the great majority of us are armchair developers ourselves. Maybe even some new projects will come out of this. This is your forum, so post away.
