FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - A Seattle company plans to build a $200 million plant near Fayetteville to turn corn into ethanol, joining an industry that's booming thanks to government subsidies and political desires to reduce U.S. dependence on foreign oil.

It seems as if the rural Fayetteville surrounding area is booming with over 500 new jobs within 4 counties (Hoke, Duplin, Robeson, & Sampson). Maybe this can create some type of Ethanol HQ for Fayetteville since the Metro will be surrounded with the stuff.
