Here are a few photos from Pride last weekend with an estimated 55,000 in attendance.

Hey everyone! This is my first day here and my first post. I have a lot of pictures of Columbia that I've taken since I got my digital camera several months ago. Here is a shot that I took a couple of months ago, when I was supposed to be studying... :D

Thanks, guys! I guess I'll go ahead and post the second pic for the day. I'm so excited to have Columbia and South Carolina residents to share these with! I think most of my friends are getting bored because they're not as enthusiastic about the city as I am, heh.

Pretty generic, but also one of my favorite State House pictures:

You take really neat photos!

You really think so? Thanks! I guess I'm too modest; I've always wanted to be a professional photographer but I don't think I'm talented enough.

This is kind of simple, but one of my favorites. I'm on the fourth floor of the Main Branch of the library, looking down over the escalators. All four floors (or a part of each) are visible in this shot. You know, that branch has beautiful architecture and is a GREAT place to get interesting pictures. I have several more that I plan on showing you guys in the coming days.
