I've included quite a few pictures in this thread that I've never posted here before.

Let's look back at the places I've visited in 2006.

The Places I visited:

We begin in Utrecht, in Febuary. View of the old channel from a friend's appartment.

Utrecht, again from the same point of view. This time, the city was covered with snow for the first time in the winter of '05-'06.

In March, I visited the town of Emden for the first time.

When travelling through Germany, you might run into some odd placenames.

In April, I went to the German Alps with friends, for a 3-day break from studying.

That's Lake Constance in the distance.

It's so cool to see some of those pictures from Salzburg.. I think I have some of the same ones. Oddly enough, I was in Salzburg until about 2 days before you got there. In fact, that bus stop was the last one I took to get to the airport when leaving. Very nice pictures, and yes, it is beautiful.

Thanks everyone for your enthusiastic reactions!

Snowguy, how cool that you were there just before I got there. I noticed there were a lot of international visitors around, including an extrordinary amount of non-Europeans. That must have someting to do with the World Cup, I guess. I loved the classical architecture in Salzburg. Here's some more Salzburg pics for you:
