Colorado Cities in 2006 Part 6

Let's face it, Colorado really only has one CITY. I will start with a few pictures I took during a drunken weekend at a Denver hotel, and then transition to my collection of photos from the Denver Art Museum, which opened an architecturally spectacular expansion this fall.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn downtown. The location was incredible.

The view out our hotel room window shows the new Hyatt, which is where we did our drinking, and the new Hilton Garden Inn under construction next door.

There's nothing like watching the sunset while sipping martini's on the 27th Floor :)

My pictures don't give this view justice. If you're ever staying in Downtown Denver, you have to go.

In October the Denver Art Museum opened it's new wing. This is another must see in the mile high city.

Civic Center Park is across the street.
