Detroit to Clean Up Evictions

I applaud the city for this new ordinance. There's nothing uglier than driving past an apartment building, duplex, or house and seeing a recently evicted tenant's belongings and trash scattered all over the front lawn. Additionally, requiring landlords to put the stuff in containers will ease the tenant's transition to another residence (hopefully)

Yeah, this is a surprising move. For all the criticism of Kwame, he's been pretty good in pushing things like this. The other big one was the more aggressive move he took against illegal dumpers.
