future home of The International Civil Rights Museum (former Woolworth Store where four NC A&T students started a sitins demonstration which spreaded nationwide. The "Greensboro Sitin" was a historic event because it started the civil rights movement of the 1960s. There is a Greensboro Sitin exhibit at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC. The International Civil Rights Museum will also feature exhibits of historic events that happen around the country. There was an effort at one time to permantly bring the Rosa Parks bus to this museum.

I love Natty Greenes. Its a popular place both day and night and is the only restaurant in downtown Greensboro with 3 floors. The third floor can be reserved for parties. the sencon floor has seating and a game room area. best of all. you're eating in an authentic 19th century building.
