Beautiful city! A great mix of old and new architecture. Is that new roundabout right downtown? (about 1/2 way through the montage)

future home of The International Civil Rights Museum (former Woolworth Store where four NC A&T students started a sitins demonstration which spreaded nationwide. The "Greensboro Sitin" was a historic event because it started the civil rights movement of the 1960s. There is a Greensboro Sitin exhibit at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC. The International Civil Rights Museum will also feature exhibits of historic events that happen around the country. There was an effort at one time to permantly bring the Rosa Parks bus to this museum.

I love Natty Greenes. Its a popular place both day and night and is the only restaurant in downtown Greensboro with 3 floors. The third floor can be reserved for parties. the sencon floor has seating and a game room area. best of all. you're eating in an authentic 19th century building.

Yes it is. The new roundabout opened back around last August. A new office building with a Mellow Mushroom restaurant is planned for that intersection.

I pretty much grew up my entire life in North Carolina, and have never really been to downtown Greensboro. What an absolute gem.

Great pics!
